Manor have signed Pascal Wehrlein to take up one of their seats for this year. Also as things “look positive” for Alexander Rossi to take the second seat.
Wehrlein, 21, was the Mercedes reserve driver in 2015 and also won the DTM German Touring Car Championship the same year. He is also the second rookie to be signed for 2016 alongside Jolyon Palmer at Renault.
Wehrlein has also tested for Mercedes and Force India. He was reserve driver for Mercedes in 2014 and 2015 and also for Force India in 2015.
Alexander Rossi and Will Stevens, who both drove for Manor in 2015 and Rio Haryanto are also hoping to take the second seat alongside Wehrlein and the last seat in F1 2016!
